Information on current distribution of the Eastern Indigo Snake (
Drymarchon couperi
), Southern Hognose Snake (
Heterodon simus
), Kingsnakes (
Lampropeltis floridana, L. getula,
and
L. meansi
), Mole Kingsnakes (
Lampropeltis occipitolineata and L. rhombomaculata
), Short-tailed Kingsnake (
Lampropeltis extenuata
), and Florida Pine Snake (
Pituophis melanoleucus mugitus
) is needed, and your observations can help FWC biologists evaluate their status.
These snakes spend much of their time underground and are difficult to survey.
